AI-native K-12 LMS
One project. Every outcome it actually teaches.
Casiana is a learning management system for project-based schools. A single deliverable is scored against every learning outcome it assesses — thinking, writing, speaking, collaboration, agency — each with its own rubric, its own feedback, and its own trend over time.

An 87 is a lossy compression of a six-week project
A project is deliberately integrative. One deliverable is real evidence about a student’s reasoning, their writing, their presentation, their teamwork, and their self-direction, all at once.
Nearly every learning management system stores that as a single number per assignment. A student who is analytically strong and organizationally weak averages to the same score as a student who is neither, and nobody — not the student, not the parent, not next year’s teacher — can recover the difference.
Casiana stores each outcome separately, because that is what the work actually produced.
What that changes
A gradebook that holds more than one number
Tag a project with the outcomes it assesses. Students submit one deliverable. Score each outcome against its own rubric, with its own feedback and its own trend line. Course grades roll up by outcome, not by assignment average.
An AI coach, not an AI grader
Students get outcome-aligned formative feedback on a draft, before submission, against the same rubric their teacher will use. Teachers get drafted rubrics, activities, and driving questions. Every suggestion is labeled and editable, and a human is always the assessor of record.
Additive, not a rip-and-replace
Keep Google Classroom for day-to-day distribution if it works for you. Use Casiana for the projects that matter. We would rather earn a place alongside your stack than demand a July migration.
Who it is for
Project-based schools
You already assess against a graduate profile. Casiana stores it the way you talk about it.
Microschools
Small, founder-led, moving fast. Set up outcomes and rubrics in an afternoon, not a semester.
Small networks
Compare growth on the same outcomes across every campus, without asking sites to grade identically.
Built on frameworks you can read for yourself
The default rubrics come from published, publicly available work: claim–evidence–reasoning for scientific explanation, the AAC&U VALUE rubrics for written communication, oral communication, and teamwork, the three-dimensional framework behind the Next Generation Science Standards, Bloom’s revised taxonomy for the structure of levels, and the ISTE standards for digital work. They are starting points — rename, reweight, or replace any of them.
Want to try it on your own projects?
We are looking for a small number of pilot schools willing to use this on real work with real students, and tell us where it falls short.
